  • Jonathon M. Polk

    Jonathon M. Polk President & Chief Executive Officer

    A Native Son of Long Beach, Jonathon has served his community for more than 20 years. He started his career in funeral service immediately after graduating from Long Beach Poly, apprenticing at Long Beach Colonial Mortuary under the tutelage of its former owner and his protege, Mr. Gillis Monroe and Ms. Latasha Company. He graduated "with honors" from the Cypress College of Mortuary Science. Jonathon has served in supervisory and management positions at Tillman Riverside Mortuary and Destiny Funeral Home & Crematory respectively. He is known throughout Southern California not only for his exceptional skill as an embalmer, but also for the genuine care he provides to his community. As the FIRST native of Long Beach to open an African-American-owned funeral establishment, Jonathon considers it an honor and privilege to serve HIS community.
